We owe every ounce of success to our local communities. That's why we are continually giving back to the community. We are truly committed to uplifting others to be more successful than ever before, and we are honored to have opportunities to make a difference in the communities in which we live and work. With a focus on making a difference in children’s lives, we have donated over $850,000 to various children’s charities and communities around the world.

On the evening of Tuesday, May 8^th, over 1000 brave children & their families were invited to enjoy a special evening called Dreamnight at the Vancouver Aquarium. These brave children & their families were presented with the opportunity to attend via various local non-profit organizations that support children with life threatening illnesses, such as BC Children’s Hospital, Canuck Place, etc. Spence has been honored to sponsor this special event for the past 2 years at the Vancouver Aquarium.
 
With a few Spence team members in attendance, we were all truly touched by the impact that the entire event had on the families and children in attendance. We had the privilege to speak with many of the guests throughout the course of the evening. By the end of the evening, we were deeply inspired and in awe of the strength, love and gratitude practiced by all these families.
 
In particular, there was one amazingly strong mother who thanked us, meaning the entire Spence Diamonds team, for sponsoring the event. She said that the Dreamnight event was a breath of fresh air for her and her family during their tough times, and that they would otherwise not have the opportunity to visit the Aquarium if this event did not happen each year. We could genuinely feel her appreciation, as she spoke.

From the heart-warming interactions, to the amazing dolphin show, to the hilarious sea otter duo, to fresh ice cream cones, to seeing the Vancouver Aquarium under the stars, to the inspiring strength of these brave kids and their families, the 2012 Dreamnight at the Vancouver Aquarium was a truly special evening, whereby the Spence team was honored to be a part of and support.
