I have purchased from Spence jewellers on a few occasions, in store and on line. The staff have always been excellent to deal with. The on line experience was also very good.
I recently had the opportunity to upgrade my ring at Spence Diamonds, and the entire experience was fantastic from start to finish. I worked with Olivia, who was an absolute pleasure to deal with. I came in with tons of questions, and she took the time to answer every single one with so much patience and knowledge. She helped me find the exact diamond shape and size I was looking for while keeping everything comfortably within my budget. The communication throughout the process was seamless and made the whole upgrade stress-free. I couldn't be happier with the result and highly recommend working with Olivia!
We had a wonderful experience at Spence Diamonds, there was an absolutely incredible selection to look at and try on. There were what felt like hundreds of tester rings out to try on ranging from more simple solitaires to truly unique, creative styles. Once you've narrowed down the features you like, you can custom design your ring to fit your exact desires with a stone that your jeweler makes sure fits your standards/price point. Scott, store director, sat us down and gave us a wonderful explanation on grading diamonds and showed us examples to help us understand. He helped us narrow down what we were looking for in a stone, brought out a couple of examples, and showed us small adjustments we could make to the custom ring to give it a softer appearance. We did end up finding a ring at a different store - something in me clicked with the ring we picked, it met our grading standards, and had a bit of a Cinderella moment with the fit... but we had such a positive experience here that I had to write a review to encourage others to come here first. They are going to treat you right, educate you, and help you create a ring that checks all your boxes. The professionalism here was by the best of all the stores we went to, Scott was fun and really knows his stuff. You're in good hands here.
I went in unsure of what I wanted for a wedding band. I have a 84 year old engement ring. I have a tight budget. Mark was great. He brought me to a section that was within my price range and looking at my engagement ring he had recommended a couple rings, he didn’t pressure me, I left to have some time to make sure it was the one I wanted. I came back a couple hours later and he was there as soon as possible to finish helping me. I was able to find a wedding band that I not only love but went with my engagement ring and my budget. Very pleasantly surprised, A+ on experience and service. The showroom was very spaced out and well organized. The sales staff were very nice and not pretentious. They provide you with a warm welcome and give you space to look around and you get to actually go into the showcases on your own and try on rings to see what style you like best. They give you a tray where you can rank them from maybe to probably to this is the one. Absolutely zero pressure and no judgement at all. It was a very welcome experience, especially when your engagement ring shopping and once we selected a style, we got educated on the types of diamonds that they offer and again it wasn’t having information shoved in your face. It was very well presented and interesting.
We really appreciated the time that we got to spend there and the service. I think we were in there for three hours and never felt pressured or anything at all. That alone makes this a place that we will definitely go to in the future and recommend to others.

We had an amazing experience at Spence Diamonds finding the perfect wedding bands! Scott was incredibly friendly, patient and knowledgeable throughout the entire process. Their professionalism made what could have been an overwhelming decision feel so easy and special. We left with the biggest smiles on our faces. So I’ve been out shopping on and off for the perfect wedding band for my soon to be husband and as I walked into Spence diamonds today in Calgary I never felt so taken care of from the moment I walked in the door, Mark Sab Welcomed me in I felt so invited as I started to tell him what I was looking for he paid close attention to exactly what I was saying Word for Word as we went through and looked at a few rings. I explained to him about my husband‘s work and what he does and how this ring has to be perfect keep in mind. I’ve been looking for a while, so I was very fussy, knowing what I had gotten him in the past for an engagement ring it didn’t work out as I planned. My partner and I were so impressed with Spence Diamonds. They have a huge selection of prototypes that aren't covered by glass so you can try all the types on! Drew was absolutely lovely in getting us up to speed on the 4 C's for diamonds and in general was very helpful in visualizing the ring I wanted. The rings came on time and I love it !!
