Important Note about Online Holiday Orders:

For online orders for earrings & pendants made on or before December 16th, and for ready-made ring orders made on or before December 10th, your purchase will arrive in time for Christmas on or before December 24th, 2024.

We ensure that our best effort is made to deliver your package by December 24th, 2024. However, due to possible shipping carrier delays, we cannot guarantee delivery dates in time for Christmas. Pricing
What is your pricing based on?

Our pricing has three components: your center large diamond, ring mount and small diamonds in the ring mount (if applicable). Each component is up to you – your ring, your choice! Our large center diamond pricing reflects our standard of superior cut and high quality. Learn more about the 4Cs at Spence here.

What is your “Starting At” price based on? The “As Pictured” price?

For most of our styles, the “Starting At” price shown for each style is based upon a design created with an Artisan Created Diamond of 0.50 carats, one of the most sought after diamond sizes. The “As Pictured” prices are based on styles set with a diamond of I colour and VS2 clarity, set in 14 karat gold. Please visit one of our Spence showrooms and a certified Diamond Consultant will support you with selecting your unique special diamond.

Your prices online are based on Artisan Created Diamonds - do you still carry Earth Mined Diamonds?

Rest assured – the choice is yours! Whether you’re looking for an Artisan Created or Earth Mined Diamond, we will find a diamond in the price and quality range you have in mind. With only a finite supply available, our Earth Mined Diamonds are stunning and rare. They are consciously mined and hand reviewed to ensure we only offer our clients the best of the best.

Many of our clients prefer Artisan Created Diamonds as they are socially and environmentally responsible. And due to our unparalleled access to supply and constant technological innovation, you can get a significantly larger diamond for the same price.

What if I want to change the size of the center diamond/my budget doesn’t fit the “As Pictured” price?

Most styles can be made to fit a wide range of investments and can be set with diamonds smaller or larger than what is shown. We welcome you to meet with one of our certified Diamond Consultants to find a diamond in the price and quality range you have in mind.

How much is pick up in store?

Pick up in store is free of charge.

Where can I pick up my order?

You can choose to pick up your order from any of our 8 locations across Canada. Click here to find your nearest store.

How do I know when to pick up my order?

You will receive an order confirmation email advising that your order is being processed. When your order is ready for pick up, one of our friendly staff will give you a call advising that your order is now ready in store. Please do not attempt to pick up your order prior to receiving this call as your order may not be ready at the location selected.

How long does it take to process my order?

Orders for earrings and pendants typically take 3–5 business days to process before they are ready for pick-up at your selected location. For ready-made rings, processing takes 5–7 business days.

Important: Please wait for a call from our store before attempting to pick up your order. We will notify you once it’s ready.

Shipping

How much is shipping?
We offer Free Delivery Canada wide – although rural shipping fees may apply based on your location and deliverability.
Where do you ship?

We ship everywhere in Canada with the exception of Quebec.

Can you ship to a PO Box, APO or FPO address?

Unfortunately, we are unable to ship to any PO Box, APO or FPO addresses.

Will my order be packaged discreetly?

Your order will come in Spence branded packing within a generic FedEx shipping box or soft padded envelope. For confidentiality and discretion, your FedEx shipping label will show your order was shipped from JSW Management instead of Spence Diamonds. We don’t want to ruin any surprises!

How will my order be shipped?

All orders are shipped via FedEx.

When will I receive my order?

Typically, orders will be delivered within 5 – 9 business days.

* Delivery standards are based on normal delivery conditions. Above delivery timeline does not include weekends, holidays and any unforeseeable delays on the courier’s end (including, but not limited to, acts of God, epidemics, labour disruptions, equipment failures or unanticipated surges in volume). Estimated delivery date may be delayed if a change of delivery option or shipping details was submitted on the customer’s end

Returns

What is your return policy?

If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your jewelry purchase from Spence, simply return it to a Spence within 30 days of the original order date in its unaltered, original condition with the original sales receipt along with all applicable paperwork and Spence will gladly refund your money. All refunds, less any applicable charges, will be issued in the same form in which the payment was originally made, apart from cash payments which will be refunded via cheque. Returns on made-to-order rings are subject to a $100 design cancellation fee (taxes not included). Special orders may not be returned under any circumstances. Additional terms and conditions applicable to the Refund Policy, can be located in Spence Guarantee.

How do I return a purchase?

Contact our Online Orders team at [email protected] or simply drop by one of our physical locations to initiate a return. You will need to provide your order number, contact details and reason for return.

How will I be refunded?

Refunds are processed the same way you initially paid for your order. For card payments, your refund will be credited into the same account your payment originated from.

When will I receive my refund?

Refunds will be issued within 7 business days of receiving and processing the physical return.

Affirm
How does Affirm work?

Affirm (formerly known as PayBright) is one of Canada’s leading installment payment providers. When you use Affirm to pay at Spence Diamonds’ checkout, you can split your purchase into easy, automatic pay in 4 or monthly payments. To use Affirm as your preferred payment choice at checkout:

 

    • Add items to your shopping cart as usual, and select Affirm as your payment method at checkout for orders between $50 CAD and $15,000 (including taxes and shipping).
    • Get set up: Use your mobile phone number and email to set up your Affirm plan within 60 seconds (subject to eligibility check and approval).
    • Confirm your payment plan with Affirm— Spence will process and ship your order as usual.
    • Make monthly or biweekly payments (depending on plan) to Affirm while you enjoy your purchase.
Are there requirements to use Affirm?
Yes. You’ll need:

 

  • To be the legal age of majority in the province or territory in which you reside.
  • To be a resident of Canada.
  • A Canadian bank account or Visa/Mastercard debit card (your debit card must have the Visa or Mastercard logo).
    • Available payment methods may vary depending on the payment plan selected.
  • An SMS-capable Canadian phone number and an email address.
  • To meet the minimum cart size required to use Affirm as a payment option at checkout ($50 CAD).
How do I sign up?

If your basket is eligible for monthly or Pay in 4 payments with Affirm, the option will be presented online at checkout. After confirming your phone number, you’ll be sent a one-time SMS password to confirm your identity. You’ll then enter a few details for a quick decision. If you’re approved, you will have the option to set up your repayment method with Affirm and accept the terms of your payment plan.

Can I prepay my outstanding Affirm balance?

Sure, at any time! There are no penalties or fees for early repayments. To pay off your current balance, please login to the Affirm customer portal with the phone number you used to sign up with. If you have any additional questions about your account or payment schedule, send us a message here.

Where can I use Affirm?

Affirm will be available to use both in our physical store locations and online at https://spencediamonds.com.

How much can I spend with Affirm?

Affirm payment plans are available for orders from $50 to $15,000.

What does it mean to prequalify?

Prequalifying gives you an estimate of how much you can spend with Affirm. You don’t have to use the full amount, and no payments need to be made until you actually make a purchase.

Does Affirm charge interest and fees?

Affirm doesn’t charge any late fees, prepayment fees, annual fees, and no fees to open or close your account. Depending on the size of your purchase and where you’re shopping, your payment plan may include interest. If your payment plan includes interest, you’ll see the total amount of interest owed at checkout and will never be charged more than that amount.

How do returns work when paying with Affirm?

Purchases made using Affirm are subject to Spence’s standard return policy. Any returns will be processed by Spence and the client’s Affirm balance will be reduced, cancelled, or refunded accordingly. If Spence has provided a refund to you via a gift card or store credit, you must still continue repaying installment plan in full.

How long does it take to reverse a pending Affirm authorization on my credit card?

Most authorizations are reversed within 24 hours, however this is ultimately up to your financial institution, and may take 5–10 business days to be reflected on your credit card statement.

I was not able to complete a Affirm transaction. What happened?

Unfortunately, Affirm is not able to provide payment plans to every applicant. This could be due to the information on your credit file, or because Affirm was not able to verify your identity or your payment method.

Which payment methods are accepted?

Affirm currently accepts pre-authorized debits from your Canadian bank account or a debit card. Available payment methods may vary depending on the payment plan selected. Please note that prepaid cards are not accepted.

How can I track my payments and access my Affirm account?

To view your account information and track upcoming payments, please login to the Affirm customer portal using the phone number you used to sign up with. Having trouble? Please get in touch with the Affirm team.

How do I make my payments?
